When we first decided to put on a summerball tournament, we immediately liked the idea of playing after sunset.
But then we witnessed some changes at the venue we used to play at, and we were left with no illuminated outdoor courts.

So we built it ourselves: a dismantled courtyard of a youth recreation center, just a basketball goal and a couple of lights.

We drew the court lines and we started, back in 2011.
During these years, recording a growing success of the nighttime formula, we started collaborating with the local administration in order to customize the court and make what now attendance and players define “the best playground in the Milan area” - The Finest, indeed.

In 2017 we officially opened it to the public, and it’s the only illuminated outdoor court in our neighborhood where kids can go and play pick-up basketball after the sunset.
